ROME – With the arrival of summer it arrives from 17 June, from Monday to Friday, on Sky and streaming on Now ‘Cocktail Tour. The art of the aperitif Italian’. Hosted by the face of Italian mixology in the world Patrick Pistolesi, the format – conceived and produced by Hub4Brand with Level 33 – offers a tour to discover the drinks of the summer, in an itinerary among the trends of the moment and the reworking of the great classics. From mixing to gastronomic pairings, in 10 episodes, Pistolesi will lead a journey that, between panoramic terraces and urban gardens, savors the Italians’ favorite moment, the aperitif. We start from Rome and Milan, centers of Italian mixology experimentation and lively aperitif squares, to reveal all the secrets of contemporary bartending.
With ‘Cocktail Tour’ summer evenings will have a new flavor and aroma, discovering the trends of the moment, together with the rediscovery of the great classics: the perfect balance for a perfect Negroni, the alchemy to be sought to avoid making mistakes, a Dry Martini, but also the new flavors given by the combination of bergamot, with ginger, lemongrass and elderflowers of Prisma, and the unusual sweetness of Natsu with notes of raspberry and marshmallow. The Cocktail Tour drink list includes traditional recipes such as Negroni, White Lady, Bramble, French 75, Dry Martini, together with innovative formulas such as Ga-ri-bawl-dee, Lotus, Prisma, Canova and Natsu.
WHO IS PATRICK PISTOLESI
Born in 1978, Patrick Pistolesi is among the best-known Italian bartenders in the world, with over 25 years of experience in the world of mixology. A pioneer of the art of mixing, Pistolesi has brought innovation to the sector since the beginning of his career, not only in the creation and reworking of his drink lists, but also in the creation of companies and entrepreneurial projects that have become leaders in Italy and around the world. Since 2018, Drink Kong has opened in Rome, the best cocktail bar in Italy and number 21 in the world according to the prestigious World’s 50 Best Bars ranking.
