Cinema in Festa is back, all films for 3.50 euros

From 9 to 13 June in over 900 cinemas. Borgonzoni: "Our commitment to the full restart of cinemas continues"

ROME – Films are back at 3.50 euros with ‘Cinema in Festa‘, an initiative proposed to the public by Anec and Anica, with the support of the MiC and in collaboration with the David di Donatello – Italian Film Academy. “Seeing a film at the cinema is a unique emotion and I invite everyone to experience it in the weeks to come because starting from 9 June, when the ‘Cinema in Festa’ initiative by Anec-Anica will start, thanks to the MiC campaign ‘Cinema Revolution’ great titles and promotions await the public in theaters throughout the season. We will be there: our commitment to the full restart of cinemas continues”, declares Undersecretary of Culture Lucia Borgonzoni.

‘Cinema in Festa’ is the project launched in 2022 and which will continue until 2026: every year, in the months of June and September, for 5 days from Sunday to Thursday, the ticket will cost only 3.50 € for all films and throughout Italy. The fourth edition will start on Sunday 9 June with over 900 participating cinemas for around 2800 screens and will end on Thursday 13 June with the new releases of the week . The first edition in September 2022 totaled 1.1 million viewers, figures which have increased steadily over time, with the second edition scoring 1.2 million viewers in June 2023 and the third 1.5 million viewers in September 2023. This year too the initiative is part of ‘Cinema Revolution – Che Spettacolo L’Estate’, the campaign supported by MiC which transforms summer 2024 into an extraordinary season of films and promotions.
