Carlos Alcaraz beats Zverev and wins Roland Garros

The Spanish tennis player, after beating Sinner in the semifinals, wins the Roland Garros in Paris: the match against Zverev ends in the fifth set

ROME – Carlos Alcaraz is the king of Paris. The Spaniard won Roland Garros by coming from behind to beat the German Alexander Zverev at the end of a hard-fought final, which ended in the fifth set: 6-3, 2-6, 5-7, 6-1, 6-2.
For Alcaraz, who he had overcome Jannik Sinner in the semi-final, it is the third Slam title, the first Roland Garros. Furthermore, the Spaniard thus equalized the scores in the matches with Zverev (5-5) and confirmed his superiority over his opponent on clay (3-1).
