Car against 4 motorbikes in Oristano, then hell: three dead and 2 injured

In Paulilatino, a trip with friends turned into a tragedy, three motorcyclists under 30, all from the area, lost their lives. The accident then triggered a large fire in the area

ROME – It’s the apocalypse along theProvincial Road 11, near Oristano, where a motorbike trip with friends turned into a tragedy. Three people under 30 lost their lives in a very violent collision between a car and a group of riders. Upon impact, the vehicles then caught fire, causing a vast fire in the surrounding green area: aircraft, Canadair and Superpuma, also had to intervene. to try to put out the flames, which has been at work since the early hours of the afternoon.

The accident occurred on the stretch of theSp 11 in the municipality of Paulilatino in the province of Oristano. Three young centaursamong the 27 lost their lives. and the 30 years, two of Paulilatino – Mario Sedda and Roberto Daga – recognized by the mayor himself, Domenico Gallus – who intervened immediately on the spot – the name of the third has not yet been released, but he is resident in another nearby municipality. Two other people – Ivano Saba, one of the boys on the motorbike, and the driver of the car, Carlo Masala – were injured. 

According to an initial reconstruction of the facts, the group of boys on motorbikes were returning from Fordongianus, after having taken a tour in the area of Lake Omodeo. Along the provincial road, before a bump, the tragic collision between four motorbikes and a car occurred. The dynamics of the incident are still being examined by the carabinieri and traffic police, who intervened together with the firefighters and 118 personnel.
