Bonaccini booms in the North East, only Meloni gets the most votes. Well Vannacci: the numbers of all the preferences

Bonaccini received 383 thousand preferences in the North East, only Meloni did better than him with almost half a million votes. Vannacci settles at 140 thousand votes. Among the dems also Zan and Moretti did well, Cisint exploited in the League

BOLOGNA – “Breaks through” Stefano Bonaccini, who travels over 383,000 preferences with the counting now completed. But the preference race in the North-East also featured an excellent performance by League general Roberto Vannacci, over 140,000 preferences. However, the one to receive the greatest number of personal votes in the European elections, even if it will not go to the European Parliament, is Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who “cannibalized” the internal race in Fratelli d’Italia by collectingalmost half a million preferences (approximately 489,000 with a few sections to go).

At Fdi the least distant is the Venetian councilor Elena Donazzan, with over 63,000 preferences. The Bolognese city councilor Stefano Cavedagna follows with 54,000 and the outgoing Strasbourg Sergio Berlato with around 45,000. The other Bolognese Piergiacomo Sibiano also did well with 19,000 personal votes and some chances of getting a ticket to Strasbourg. However, Guglielmo Garagnani, former Confagricoltura, cannot manage around 9,000.

Among the Democrats, by far the most voted in the North-East constituency is Bonaccini, but there were also excellent performances by the Venetians Alessandro Zan (out of 92,000 preferences) and Alessandra Moretti (81,000). Also doing well is Elisabetta Gualmini (56,000), ahead of Annalisa Corrado (48,000). Several positions further back and the Schleinian Antonio Mumolo certainly not elected, however above the threshold of 20,000 preferences.

In the League Vannacci drew a blank but the mayor of Monfalcone Anna Maria Cisint emerges, although very far behind, with around 41,000 personal votes. In Forza Italia, after deputy prime minister Antonio Tajani, there is only Flavio Tosi who has around 34,000 votes. Very little Emilia-Romagna both among the Northern League and among the Azzurri, where the best is the Romagna MP Rosaria Tassinari with around 5,400 preferences (just over a thousand for the Bolognese Alessandra Servidori >, among the least voted candidates on the list). For the Green-Left Alliance, however, Mimmo Lucano stands out, with around 42,000 votes, around 10,000 more than the Venetian regional councilor of the Greens Cristina Guarda. p>

On the other hand, the Emilia Romagna people are doing well among the 5 stars, with the outgoing Sabrina Pignedoli just under 15,000 votes and Ugo Biggeri, former Banca Etica, over 10,000. Former mayor of Parma Federico Pizzarotti is out of the European Parliament due to the fate of the lists, even though he had amassed around 11,000 votes. Antonella Soldo (over 10,000 preferences received) and Giulia Pigoni of Italia viva (around 6,500) also failed with United States of Europe. Equally ‘useless’ although numerically not negligible are the almost 30,000 preferences collected by the journalist Michele Santoro.
