UDINE – Intelligent, reactive and ready factories for AI and Transition 5.0: this is what the information systems that Tecnest will demonstrate in their operational capabilities at Sps Italia in Parma, l trade fair event dedicated to automation and digital for the industry scheduled from 28 to 30 May.
The Friulian company will be present in pavilion 7, stand B58, District 4.0 area. If the 4.0 transition has allowed factories to widely equip themselves with technology for data collection and production control, today the appointment is set with Factory 5.0: a new industrial panorama generated by the integration of advanced technologies and optimization of processes.
And it is in this vital juncture that Tecnest, with 37 years of consolidated know-how in information systems for the industrial sector, intervenes with knowledge and technology aimed at placing people and processes at the center of decisions.
“The 5.0 Transition represents an important moment for the manufacturing world, not only a moment of awareness and attention towards energy efficiency and the environment, but also an evolution towards factories led by data both in their operational work and from a strategic point of view – states the president of Tecnest Fabio Pettarin– In this sense, company information systems, which collect production data and plan activities, represent precious allies for the 5.0 transition and for the application of machine learning algorithms as a new frontier offered by artificial intelligence”.
At the Parma fair, “Tecnest wants to put its 37 years of experience at the service of manufacturing – continues the president – by shining the spotlight on the importance of the new industrial revolution both from the point of view of factory operations , and in terms of the renewed centrality of the figure of man”.
Specifically, Tecnest’s Flex suite manages to be the ‘enabling technology’ for the adoption of artificial intelligence systems in an ecosystem of data and information.
Mes, IIoT and scheduling are the premises for Transition 5.0: the vast amount of information collected and managed by the Mes and Aps systems represents the ideal territory for Machine Learning algorithms. These algorithms, learning from the available data, are able to propose improvements and useful suggestions to increase the efficiency and profitability of the factory in all its aspects.
The in-depth knowledge of the processes by Tecnest consultants and the customers’ experience in the field therefore constitute a combination of fundamental importance in decision-making processes.
