Bad weather, tomorrow in Bologna all schools closed (again): the decision of the Municipality

In light of the weather alert, the Municipality of Bologna has decided to close all schools for the day of Friday 25 October

BOLGNA -. In light of the weather-hydrogeological-hydraulic alert issued today by Arpae, valid for tomorrow, Friday 25 October, “considering the large quantity of water that fell on the city of Bologna in recent days and the size of the impact of the flood, which has weakened the holding capacity of the soil and, more generally, of the city’s water system”, as a precaution the Municipality has decided for tomorrow, Friday 25 October, the “suspension of educational and didactic activities in all nursery schools and in all schools of all levels in Bologna”. The municipal administration also “invites”, as stated in a note from Palazzo D’Accursio, “for the same day, companies and local authorities to encourage the use of smart working. What which the Municipality of Bologna and the Metropolitan City will also do by authorizing an additional day of smart working, with the exception of personnel engaged in essential services”.
