ITALY WEARS ARMANI: BLUE UNIFORM FOR DEPARTURE TO GERMANY

After the 2021 victory, the Italian national football team will wear the formal uniform designed by Emporio Armani also for the European Championships in Germany from 14 June to 14 July. The suit consists of a two-button blue jacket, with the writing ‘Italia’ on the back, combined with straight denim trousers and a light blue shirt. The cotton knit jacket is inspired by the one worn by the national team in 1928, from which it also takes up the graphic of the coat of arms on the top pocket. The colors, the comfortable fabric and the dynamic and elegant lines reflect the authentic spirit of the brand. The initiative is part of the four-year collaboration plan, signed in 2019 by Giorgio Armani with FIGC, for the creation of the formal Emporio Armani wardrobe for the Italian national football team, the Under 21 team and the National Women’s team.
