Avellino, repeated sexual abuse of minors: father and daughter in prison

NAPLES – According to his 25-year-old daughter, a 58-year-old man repeatedly sexually abused two minors inside his home. The events happened in Cervinara, in the province of Avellino, between 2018 and 2019. The woman and her father, both local, were arrested this morning. Against them, the Carabinieri of the provincial command of Avellino carried out a detention order issued by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic at the Court of Appeal of Naples for the crime of aggravated and continuous sexual violence. The facts were ascertained following an investigation carried out by the Carabinieri of the investigative unit of the Avellino operations department and coordinated by the Irpinia prosecutor’s office. After the formalities, the two arrested were entrusted to prison police personnel to be accompanied to prison.
