ROME – ‘Roma Blues’, directed by Gianluca Manzetti, debuts at the cinema today. In a torrid Rome flooded with waste and electric scooters, Al (Francesco Gheghi) is a serial dreamer who knows he is destined for something important. When he helplessly witnesses the crumbling of his greatest dream, to make it big with his band, destiny shows him a second path. After the accidental discovery of a phone containing evidence of a crime, with his passion and knowledge of the Noir genre, Al becomes convinced that he can solve the case on his own, starting his bizarre investigation. During his adventure, a dating app introduces him to Betty (Mikaela Neaze Silva). Both boys, in search of their place in the world, delve into a mystery that will soon prove beyond their reach.
