Among the 800 fashion brands at the Pitti Uomo, starting today in Florence, at the Fortezza da Basso, there is also the eco-sustainable line launched by the Army. In fact, the international event dedicated to men’s clothing and accessories for spring-summer 2025 opens in the Tuscan city and the Army launches the new spring-summer 2025 collection of the “ Army Sportswear” brand.
It is “a perfect combination of eco-sustainable innovation, purity of natural materials and timeless elegance”. Yes, because the collection also aims “at creative recycling” giving new shape to disused army materials and “transformed into unique and innovative clothing through the union of design and craftsmanship”, it explains. Like the decommissioned military parachutes which thus “find new life in a series of exclusive garments. Washed and bleached to obtain an absolute white, the parachutes are combined with natural fabrics such as cotton, creating a perfect combination”. The collection “is inspired by natural colors, with shades of blue, sand and white that reflect the sky, land and water, evoking the beauty of the environment and highlighting the brand’s dedication to responsible fashion.”
