REGGIO CALABRIA – The Carabinieri of Gioia Tauro (RC) have seized an illegal pharmacy inside which medicines such as fentanyl and morphine were found. As requested by the Palmi Public Prosecutor’s Office, two people were reported. During a series of inspection services, the military personnel verified that within an activity that should have been only a “solidarity” pharmaceutical counter for the most needy people, there were numerous drugs subject to requiring a medical prescription, as well as numerous packages of other drugs require the mandatory presence of a doctor to be delivered to the applicants. The crimes alleged against the two people are: abusive practice of the medical profession, violations of the consolidated law on health matters (and subsequent laws) and violation of the consolidated law on narcotics.
