Amici 23, Petit: “New music coming soon. With Marisol? Distance doesn’t scare us”

His first eponymous EP was released on May 17th, which establishes the starting point for a journey still to be written

ROME – Italian, French and Neapolitan come together in the verses of Petit, born Salvatore Moccia, among the undisputed protagonists of the latest edition of Amici di Maria De Filippi . Born in 2005, Pomano, born to a Neapolitan father and a French mother, began making music at the age of 14. Petit liked to run after a ball, but in his life the call of music was stronger than anything else. And so he signed up for the Amici castings, passed them and entered the longest-running talent show on television. He immediately won over the public not only with his songs, such as ‘Mammami’ or ‘Guagliò’ but also with his sweetness up to the evening scene. Not just music at Amici. Petit discovered love with the dancer Marisol, winner of the dance category. “When you’re in love you write better,” said the singer. “At the moment we are very busy but we will reduce the distances.”

On May 17th his first eponymous EP was released – available in physical CD and digital format – which contains ‘Tornerai’, the hit ‘Mammamì’ ( produced by Dardust), ‘Che fai’ (produced by Takagi and Ketra) ‘Feriscimi’ (produced by Dat Boi Dee), ‘Guagliò’ (produced by Zef) and ‘Brooklyn’. Songs that Petit is bringing on his instore tour – welcomed by the affection of the fans and many records to autograph – which started on May 20th from Naples. Among the next stops are: June 6th in Rimini (CC Le Befane), June 7th in Lodi (CC Belpo’), June 8th in Taranto (CC Porte dello Ionio), June 9th in Reggio Calabria (CC Perla dello Stretto ), the 10th in Vibo Valentia (CC Vibo Center), the 15th in Livorno (CC Fonti del Corallo) and the 16th in Cuneo (CC Grande Cuneo).

Since his first performances, Petit has struck everyone with his talent and authenticity and this first recording comes out as the culmination of an experience that has made him grow and mature, but is also the starting point for a journey still everything to write. “I’m working on new music. Going to Sanremo? It would be an honor“, said the artist.
