Alessandro Morelli: “Government investments in new technologies, path mapped out”

This was said by Alessandro Morelli, Undersecretary of State at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for the Planning and Coordination of economic policy, speaking at the 'Young Innovators Business Forum', organized in Milan by the Angi-National Association of Young Innovators

MILAN – “Technologies must be considered as a large mosaic to obtain the best possible result. There are many pieces; let’s start with artificial intelligence, think about the cloud, 5G, the super computer… In Italy, thanks to investments of the government, thanks to the investments that are being made regarding this national strategy of new technologies, we can smile at a near future that sees a path now traced”.

This was said by Alessandro Morelli, Undersecretary of State at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers with responsibility for the Planning and Coordination of economic policy, speaking at the ‘Young Innovators Business Forum’, organized in Milan by the Angi-National Association young innovators.

Public investment on these issues must be fundamental to subsequently attract a good part of the market that is ready to aspire and pick up the baton launched by the public. Another issue concerns the skills that must be combined with the use of artificial intelligence.
It would be absurd to give a racing car to a person who doesn’t even have a driving license. Here, this is the case to which we must refer to avoid this risk, and that is the holistic approach in new technologies regarding their availability on the market and the ability to use these technologies by our bureaucratic and non-bureaucratic classes Alone.
