IN MODENA OPTIMISM OF THE CENTRE-LEFT

Optimism and also enthusiasm at Massimo Mezzetti’s electoral committee, in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Modena, where here and there there is already confidence in victory in the first round. Although the online counting for the capital, on the ministry and municipal websites, continues to take a little longer, the unofficial data arriving at the committee from the various polling stations is comforting, even more so after the result of the European elections in the city( where the Democratic Party confirmed itself as the first party with a boom of 38,131 votes, equal to 44.44%, followed at a distance by Fdi with 19,068 votes, equal to 22.23%). For example, at the Strada Canaletto electoral section, again according to the data that arrive informally, Mezzetti scores 58%, just as it is over 50% at the San Faustino polling station. Similar news emerges from the areas of Villaggio Zeta. Among the various exponents of the Democratic Party and the centre-left who arrived at Mezzetti’s committee, where the person concerned has not been seen for now, Andrea Bortolamasi, outgoing councilor for Culture, confirms “cautious optimism, given that the data arriving are absolutely comforting. But let’s wait, it’s still early, even if there is trust.”
