Accident on the A12, car hits cars queuing at the toll booth: 3 dead

Terrible accident at the Rosignano toll booth, near Livorno

BOLOGNA – Three people died in a terrible road accident that occurred on the motorway at the A12 motorway toll booth in Rosignano, in the province of Livorno. At least seven injured. There were at least three cars involved: around 1pm, according to what has been reconstructed, a car with two people on board (German) crashed at high speed into the cars stopped in the queue and then overturned , also damaging the toll booth: the booth was torn down.

The two people died and one person from one of the cars in the queue, a Fiat 500, which was rear-ended, also died. Among the injured there are also two children.

In 2019, an equally terrible accident occurred in the same spot: a policeman lost control of his car and crashed into the toll booth structure, killing himself.
