Accident in Milan, fatal truck-car collision: two dead and two injured

ROME – This morning tragedy on the A52 Tangenziale Nord of Milan, towards Turin (near Pero): fatal collision between a truck and a car, a Volkswagen Beetle. Two dead and two injured, this is the toll following the accident: the first are two boys aged 25-30, who died instantly; of the latter, one (18 years old) was transported to San Carlo in Milan for facial trauma and the other (20 years old), in more serious conditions, to the Niguarda hospital in Milan with cranial, abdominal and limb injuries. The causes are under investigation. The Sesto San Giovanni firefighters intervened promptly to extract the bodies and make the stretch safe. Police officers were also present.
